Each year, the people of Bali celebrate the Balinese New Year called Nyepi. Unlike any other New Year celebrations, Balinese celebrate the new year by practicing a series of peaceful and sacred rituals to face the coming year with a renewed and refreshed soul. Balinese takes their rituals seriously and the entire island will be switched off for the whole 24 hours. While Bali shuts down in serenity, there are still a lot of activities to be enjoyed at Tanah Gajah, a Resort by Hadiprana during the silent day.
The Art of Serenity gives travelers access to a blissful three-day silent day escapes to the enchanting ground of Tanah Gajah, Ubud. Enjoy the peaceful vibes with complimentary activities such as swan feeding and fishing. In the evening as the sky and the new moon turn dark, the stars shine bright allowing our guests to have a captivating moment of stargazing with their loved ones.
