Single-use plastics have been replaced with plant-based alternatives, including straws crafted from rice paddy remnants, and in-room amenities are provided in refillable containers. Our water management system captures and reuses irrigation water to maintain our gardens, reducing our overall water consumption. We have embraced digital technology to minimize our environmental footprint. Upon check-in, we create dedicated WhatsApp groups for seamless guest communication, significantly reducing paper usage while enhancing personalized service. This digitalization extends across our operations, from menus to guest information, supporting our commitment to a more sustainable future.
Preserving and celebrating Balinese culture is central to our mission. We offer guided rice paddy treks where guests learn about traditional rice cultivation methods and connect with local artisans. Our resort proudly serves as a venue for the renowned Kecak & Fire Dance, providing neighboring village performers with a platform to practice and preserve this sacred Balinese tradition. We actively support local farmers by allowing them to cultivate rice fields on our property, sharing half of each harvest with them. This partnership sustains traditional agricultural practices while providing direct economic benefit to farming families. Our community engagement extends beyond our property boundaries. Each year on our anniversary, we donate essential supplies to local schools and senior citizens, strengthening our bonds with the surrounding community and contributing to their wellbeing.
